A spokeswoman for French bank Credit Agricole (EPA:ACA) on Monday denied talks on a merger with rival Societe Generale (EPA:GLE) and insurer Groupama, rejecting today's report by local paper Le Monde, Reuters said.
The spokeswoman told Reuters that Credit Agricole is not interested in talks on a possible merger.
