Markets remain weak throughout the session. Precious
metals held up well during the session. December gold and silver futures
hit a session low at $1130.00 and $ 18.15 per ounce, respectively, in the
mid-morning. However, both metals rose steadily for the rest of the session
and managed to finish marginally higher. Gold futures closed up
fractionally at $ 1141.90 per ounce and silver futures closed up
