LOS ANGELES, March 5 -- The Bipartisan Policy Center issued the following news release:

The Bipartisan Policy Center's (BPC) new Commission on Political Reform (CPR) will hold its first National Conversation on American Unity town hall meeting tomorrow, moderated by Susan Page of USA TODAY. At the town hall, top political and civic leaders will discuss with public audiences in the room and online the causes and consequences of America's extreme partisan political divide.

Together with USA TODAY, BPC will also release a brand new national poll by Whit Ayres and Mark Mellman on partisanship in America, and host panels with former members of Congress discussing "Can Congress Work in an Era of Hyper-Partisanship?" and with leading experts on "Obstacles to American Public Service."

Media and the public can join the conversation by visiting www.bipartisanpolicy.org/engageUSA or following the commission on Twitter @BPC_Bipartisan using #EngageUSA.

Questions and comments from media and the public will be incorporated into the National Conversation on American Unity town hall meeting in real time tomorrow.
