Susan Rupe Joins InsuranceNewsNet Magazine Editorial Staff
Camp Hill, Pa., (November 29, 2012)– InsuranceNewsNet Magazine is pleased to announce Susan Rupe as its new assistant editor.
Rupe brings a great deal of insurance industry knowledge to her new position, and will work closely with Editor-In-Chief Steven A. Morelli to continue to bring award-winning content to the readers of the monthly insurance news publication and its website.
“Susan knows our readers well and she has extensive publication experience,” Morelli said. “She will be instrumental in our pursuit of being irresistible and irreplaceable.”
Rupe was previously the communications director for National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors-Pennsylvania (NAIFA-Pennsylvania) from 1999 to 2012. During part of that time, from 2002 to 2009 she was communications director for PASAE (formerly Pennsylvania Society of Association Executives), the statewide organization representing the association community.
From 1994 to 1999, Rupe was editor/general manager of the County Observer, a weekly newspaper in Yeagertown, PA. Before that, Rupe spent nine years as a reporter for The Sentinel, a daily newspaper in Lewistown, PA.
She is a graduate of Shippensburg University with a degree in communications/ journalism.
