The National Alliance Announces Three New Specialty Risk Management Seminars
AUSTIN, TX - May 22, 2012 – Three new courses address the most challenging and relevant risk management issues in today’s environment related to the public, school, and church sectors. Each 8-hour course is taught by practicing risk management professionals who bring real-world examples to the classroom. Risk management and insurance professionals will learn to proactively approach today’s risk climate to preserve a healthy financial outlook for tomorrow.
Organizational Efficiency in Public Risk Management
Participants will learn about unique exposures faced by public entities and the necessary insurance requirements, the various concepts of the risk management process to include the cost of risk, how to classify risk, and techniques for evaluation and customization of a risk management program including a comprehensive risk report card. Classes will be offered on June 7, 2012 in Orange, CA, and on June 14, 2012 in Austin, TX.
Bullying Prevention: Solutions for Schools!
Bullying prevention includes cyber-bullying, federal and state law initiatives, the school, community and students’ roles, elements of effective school policies, and liability concerns. Classes will be offered on June 20, 2012, in San Antonio, TX, and on July 18, 2012 in Sacramento, CA.
Secure Houses of Worship
This program is the doorway to safeguarding people and cost control solutions. Participants will learn the steps and benefits of developing and implementing an enterprise risk management program and the impact of internet liability, network security and social networking. In addition, effective hiring and termination procedures will be discussed to mitigate turnover and litigation. The next class will be on July 10, 2012 in Houston, TX.
