WASHINGTON, Oct. 1 -- Rep. Jim McDermott, D-Wash., has introduced legislation (H.R. 6265) to amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act "to provide for certain reforms with respect to medicare supplemental health insurance policies."
The bill was introduced on Sept. 28 and was co-sponsored by Reps. Sander M. Levin, D-Mich., and John Conyers Jr., D-Mich. It was jointly referred to the House Ways and Means and Energy and Commerce committees.
