Chowchilla enforcing limitations on yard sales

For private yard sales, no more that six sales can be held at the same address in a calendar year. The sales can not last longer that three consecutive days.

One sign advertising the sale may be posted on the premises where the sale is being held. The sign can not be larger than six square feet. Two additional signs maybe posted off-site and they too can not be larger than six square feet. No signs can be affixed to utility poles, street sign poles or for similar items used for public purposes. Signs must be removed within 48 hours of the end of the sale.
Sale items displayed in a front yard cannot be placed in the yard earlier than
