"I've played for many teams in my life and there's nothing quite like Lady Husky Basketball," said Yearick. "It's not about just playing the game, it's about family, hard work and dedication, which prepare you for life."
Foster is certainly pleased to have a former player alongside on the bench.
"Kendra will be a great addition to the Lady Huskies coaching staff. She was part of the program as a player, so she is familiar with our traditions, our expectations and our system," she said. "This is the ideal situation for any varsity coach."
When the season officially gets underway in November, Yearick will be ready to play a key part in continuing to build the Lady Husky basketball program.
