Martin County wants to beef up regulation for new biofuel producers
According to the county, new rules would set where biofuel producers could open, increase the distance between such industries and residences, require the developer to provide specialized firefighting equipment if the county determines it's necessary, require liability insurance and reserve the right to require the developer to pay for a consultant for fire prevention and other inspections.
