NCOIL To Discuss Future Of ACA And The States’ Role
Manasquan, NJ: The National Conference of Insurance Legislators Health, Long Term Care and Health Retirement Committee will host an interim committee call on January 27 at 3 p.m. Eastern Standard time to discuss the future of the Affordable Care Act and the role state legislators can play to ensure coverage is available and affordable and companies remain solvent.
“It is vitally important that state legislators have a role in shaping how health care is delivered in the states” said Commissioner Tom Considine, NCOIL CEO. “This is an extraordinarily complex process and we need to hear from stakeholders about how best to move forward.”
Participants can register to participate in the call here. In addition to the interim call, it is anticipated that NCOIL will discuss this at the 2017 Spring Meeting in New Orleans, LA from March 3 - 5.
