State Auto Financial Posts 4Q Profit
COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) _ State Auto Financial Corp. (STFC) on Tuesday reported fourth-quarter earnings of $32.5 million.
On a per-share basis, the Columbus, Ohio-based company said it had profit of 77 cents. Earnings, adjusted for investment gains, were 46 cents per share.
The insurance holding company posted revenue of $364.9 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $345 million.
For the year, the company reported profit of $21 million, or 50 cents per share. Revenue was nearly unchanged at $1.37 billion.
State Auto Financial shares have declined 5.5 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has increased 16 percent in the last 12 months.
