Rep. Bilirakis Introduces Bill on Periodic Reviews of Flood Insurance Rates

WASHINGTON, Feb. 8 -- Rep. Gus Bilirakis, R-Fla., has introduced legislation (H.R. 879) to "require the Government Accountability Office to conduct periodic reviews of the flood insurance rates and flood insurance rate maps under the national flood insurance program."
The bill was introduced on Feb. 6 and was co-sponsored by Rep. Elizabeth Esty, D-Conn. It was referred to the House Financial Services Committee.
