"We did some fairly significant renovations," Davis said.
HAS MANY FEATURES
The new office has five operatory rooms, including two surgical operatories for procedures such as dental implants and sinus grafts. Each features earth-tone tile floors and windows to maximize natural lighting.
The waiting area has cream-colored walls with white trim and windows to provide a bright, cheery atmosphere.
There is a back office that houses IT equipment and can be used for case discussions. A spacious conference room features a deep brown hardwood table and comfortable chairs.
The reception area is about three times the size of what they had at the former

Davis said it is really nice to own his own office space. While he misses the camaraderie that went with the shared offices, it's nice to have a little more elbow room.

Davis said his staff has been a tremendous asset, both at work and during the move.

"The truth is, I'm blessed to have an amazing staff. We're able to work like hand and glove," Davis said. "My staff anticipates me and I anticipate them. That takes a lot of stress out of my day."
Davis said he started on his career path at
"It was kind of a busy time from 1994 to '98," Davis said.
One of his mentors, Dr.
"He's a tremendous clinician and a wonderful guy," Davis said.
STARTED NEW OFFICE
Davis later opened a satellite office of Associates in Periodontics in
He initially focused on gum-disease treatments and pre-prosthetic surgery. More recently, he has become involved in services such as dental implants and sinus elevations.
It is important for people who are to undergo significant medical procedures to have periodontal work performed first, Davis said, to help prevent the spread of infection from the gums to other parts of the body.
There is also a link between heart disease and periodontal issues, he said. Diabetics are also at risk, as periodontal issues can increase their infection load and make it even tougher for the body to fight back.
